Description:
The objective of the project is to improve soil protection practices for vegetable crops, which normally require more intensive work for the organic business, operating in the vegetable crop and cattle sector. The intern will be responsible for plot establishment, plot maintenance and data collection for a no-tillage vegetable crop research project under the cover of straw mulch and wood chips. The intern will also participate in all of the business’s operational activities, from animal care and harvesting activities to machinery operation and the packaging and sale of products.
