Description:
The objective of the project is to assist with crops grown including strawberries, sweet corn, beans, squash & pumpkins, and a variety of over 20 other vegetables. Products are sold directly to the consumer from a Roadside Stand at the farm, as well as through a 15-week produce basket subscription program. The Intern will assist with coordinating and carrying out any and all aspects of program delivery. This could include harvesting, washing, sorting, preparing the products, and labeling/packaging the produce baskets for clients to pick up at the farm during their weekly time slot.
