Description:
The objective of the project is a health and wellness beverage producer that provides Canadians with raw Kombucha, Kefir water and other fermented probiotic consumables. We create our products from all natural, organic ingredients and pride ourselves on the health benefits our raw, small batch products provide. We started with creating low sugar Kombucha and have proceeded to expand by including Water Kefir and Kombucha Vinegars. We are launching a shelf stable probiotic kombucha shot online.
The intern will learn about 1) Quality Control. Testing alcohol and fermentation levels. 2) Developing new fermentation methods to reduce alcohol during fermentation and increase pro-biotics, 3) Growing and separating strains of probiotics, 4) Work on creating a new line of health focused wellness beverages, including establish SOP for QC and gathering specsheets on all raw materials, 5) Work on removing sugar out of all fermentation to create a healthier fermented beverage.
