Description:
The objective of the project is to raise elk from calf to adult, for meat, trophy bulls, and additional value-added products such as velvet antler and pet chews.
The intern will be tasked with the on-farm research and analysis required to develop updated Environmental Farm Plans and improved livestock handling facilities - all while being closely involved in day-to-day operations of the ranch to gain direct experience in how to run a business, deal with customers/vendors/suppliers, and be exposed to technology implementation in agriculture.
