Description:
The objective of this project is to provide an intern with experience in all aspects of Christmas tree farm management (planting, pruning, competition control, mowing and sales), assist with Emerald Ash Borer treatment (using TreeAzin - an organic, safe pesticide), tree and forest inventories (and associated inventory technology), preparing forest thinning's and assisting with forest management plan development. The intern will attend applicable training certification programs to expand their experience and qualifications.
