The objective of this project is to conduct further research and development of the Recipient’s filtration technology and demonstrate nutrient removal performance of the engineered adsorbent, which can improve the environmental performance of the dairy sector over the long term and reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agricultural production.

The Project aims to:
• invest in the development of agri-based bioproducts by transforming agricultural waste (dairy manure) through filtration media, which will be later used as a soil amendment or fertilizer;

• improve environmental sustainability and efficiency of dairy farm operations.
