Description:
​The objective of the project is to help monitor the beef farm's ability to learn from and improve on their activities to sequester carbon and combat climate change. The farm is at the forefront of carbon sequestration through grassland and herd management - applying adaptive multi-paddock management techniques.  The intern will spend most of his time with the cattle, and preparing the beef for distribution. The intern will observe the cattle and the grass, move the cattle to fresh grass several times a day, monitor the health and wellbeing of the cattle and take scientific records of pasture clippings. The intern will also receive meat from the butchers, prepare packages for delivery to customers and deliver packages to customers.
