Description:
The objective of the project is to assist Makkink's Sunflower Farm which currently grows 45 varieties of flowers for customers. They sell at local farmers markets, and on the farm. If sales are not in person, customers can reach them via email or by phone to place orders. Beside selling bouquets, they also offer cut your own, workshops and tours. The Intern will assist with cleaning, organizing and making sure costumers are safe. The Intern will also work in the field and help customers find there way around with the new COVID-19 rules in place for the cut your own field, sales and cleaning.
