Description:
The objective of the project is to assist Sandy Shore, Canada's largest grower and shipper of fresh asparagus. They ship fresh produce (including bell peppers) throughout Central Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba) and eastern USA to a variety of large grocery retailers/processors. The intern would be responsible for calculating weight loads for shipping and receiving; maintaining all food safety standards and requirements; ensuring all product traceability is documented and maintained; verification and documentation of specific shipping weights with accurate product labelling and logging.
