Description:
The objective of the project is for the employee to gain experience working with First Nation communities and businesses in the development and implementation of sustainable food & agriculture initiatives to improve a communities food supply. The employee will develop resources, manuals & training tools to use to implement sustainable food systems projects that can improve a communities food supply. Assist with the implementation of sustainable food initiatives such as setting up a community garden/greenhouse. Research for feasibility studies and develop communication materials & resources for website.
