Description:
The objective of the project is to hire an inter to work on a mixed fruit and vegetable farm, supplying strawberries and raspberries to the local retail market, supplying rhubarb to a further processor, marketing dry beans in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine, USA as well as winter rye for sales to Quebec processors. The intern would be working at entry level positions in all areas of the farm production with an effort to moving into higher skill level duties as experience is acquired in the initial tasks.
