Description:
The objective of the project is for the intern to participate in the activities of this farm business specializing in growing diverse fruit crops (berries, table grapes, apples, melons, squash and pumpkins). The business uses short-channel direct marketing, as well as a pick-your-own option. The intern will learn the functioning and needs of the plants; perform each plant's required pruning, fertilization and mechanical or manual weeding; and perform customer service as the kiosk manager.
