Description:
The objective of the project is to construct, hold, manage, and maintain a high standard of health care that encompasses;- healthy lifestyle- healthy eldercare- healthy childrearing and development- healthy interpersonal relationships- healthy medical care and recovery- healthy stewardship of our lands and sustenance- healthy food security- restoration and rebuilding of healthy governance both traditional and contemporary.
The intern will grow, maintain, harvest, and process culturally relevant food and medicinal plants in a variety of gardens and greenhouses as well as support backyard garden projects with labour and education, available for community members, harvest Traditional foods and medicines on the land and water as part of Health Centre programming and incorporate local and Traditional foods into covid response and meal support.
