Description:
The objective of the project is to hire an intern to assist in growing, maintaining, harvesting and processing of culturally relevant food and medicinal plants in a variety of gardens and greenhouses. The intern will support backyard garden projects with labour and education, be available for community members (elders prioritized), harvest traditional foods and medicines on the land and water as part of the Health Centre programming and incorporate local and traditional foods into COVID response and meal support.
