The objective of this project is for the employee to gain experience working with the organization's local food system, through general garden maintenance; winter garden & crop planning; designing, sourcing & installing a water collection and irrigation system; upgrading and maintaining winter greenhouse structures; maintaining and harvesting winter crops; preparing soil and amendments in early spring; care taking and general oversight of the garden from fall 2020 to spring 2021; helping coordinate farm and food workshops.
