Description:
The objective of this project is for the intern to learn and perform beekeeping duties in a commercial and organic beekeeping operation. The intern's activities will include stock management, the implementation of a genetic selection system, selecting sites, treating hives against pests, managing bee equipment, harvesting honey, extracting and potting, specifications, identifying clinical signs and winter storage methods.
