The objective of this project is to assess and evaluate the food industry’s policies, procedures, and processes as related to precautionary and control measures for managing and mitigating the risks of infection disease or viral transmission in cases of global outbreak or pandemic such as SARS, Avian Flu, MERS, etc. and to establish a food industry "Pandemic & Emergency Preparedness & Response Standard" and an on-line web-based training program for small and medium sized food processor businesses.
