Description:
This project aims to educate students and those who would not otherwise have a connection to agriculture on various topics about the Canadian food system including food safety, sustainability and innovations in the food industry, urban farming etc. This will be achieved through an interactive discovery zone where representatives from a minimum of 10 commodity organizations will interact with participants in informational booths. The project aims to increase Canadian consumer's appreciation of the agriculture and agri-food industry's efforts and farming practices.
