This project aims to grow Canada’s pulse sector by increasing the number of markets, countries, companies, and consumers who use Canadian pulses. It will identify and showcase the advantages of Canadian pulses across the areas of; sustainability, nutrition, functionality, and quality, while also working to resolve market access issues impacting the industry. This project is also aiming to increase the Canadian pulse industry’s economic impact while reducing agricultural carbon emissions.
