This project aims to increase the capacity of community organizations across Canada to produce, process, store, and distribute food for school food programs, and helps ensure that children have the nutritious meals they need to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

This project will increase the capacity of community organizations to produce, process, store and distribute healthy and culturally appropriate food to school food programs. We will improve current school food program operations and foster relationships between schools and community organizations with an emphasis on low-income, Indigenous and other underrepresented or marginalized communities. This work will strengthen regional food systems and community food sovereignty.
