Description:
This project aims the IPPC ePhyto Solution becomes part of the core international infrastructure facilitating safe global trade in plants and plant products via the exchange of e-phytos amongst IPPC contracting parties.  However, it is currently exposed to a funding vulnerability as there is no obligation for IPPC contracting parties to provide funding, so has been solely funded by a only a small number of donors.  CPM-18 has urged all contracting parties to provide support to the IPPC ePhyto Solution through the Multi-donor Trust Fund to ensure the continuation of this important platform until a permanent funding solution can be found.
