Description:
This project aims to continue to increase awareness and public trust in the agriculture sector and bridge the urban/rural divide providing learning opportunities on how food gets from farm to table. The project will deliver educational information at a national agricultural fair, and showcase the importance of Canadian and Indigenous agriculture. In addition, it will introduce youth to potential careers in the agriculture and agri-food sector, with a goal of making the next generation aware of the important role that agriculture plays in Canada.

AgriCompetitiveness projects assist industry-led efforts to build capacity and enhance the sector’s development in one or more of the following ways:
• leadership development;
• mental health promotion;

• engaging Indigenous People and other underrepresented and marginalized groups; and/or
• promoting fairs and exhibitions.
