Description:
The project aims to stimulate economic growth among Quebec agri-food businesses by facilitating their access to various international markets and the Canadian market. This will be achieved through targeted activities, such as trade shows, leadership and opportunity exploration missions, business meetings and technical training. The project will enable companies to showcase and promote their products, establish relationships with new clients, importers and distributors, and help increase the value of Canadian agri-food exports (agricultural and agri-food products, including fish and seafood—food products, not medicinal products) globally.

The AgriMarketing Program aims to increase and diversify exports to international markets and seize domestic market opportunities. The Program supports industry-led promotional activities that highlight Canadian products and producers in the agriculture, agri-food and agri-based sectors including fish and seafood, and leverage Canada's reputation for high quality and safe food. If approved, funding support is available in the form of a non-repayable contribution from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
