Description:
The objective of the project is to produce organic vegetables in greenhouse and field for sale through the Organic program, the on-farm store and wholesale. The farm sells to customers in Ottawa, Gatineau Chelsea, Wakefield, and Masham. The intern will learn about the systems in the wash/pack shed function and assist in managing the pack/wash for the 500 baskets, the wholesale orders and the farm store. The intern will also learn the sales inventory systems and assist in the field with harvest as needed.
