Description:
The objective of the project is mixed cattle operation, focusing on raising cattle for slaughter as well as engages in grain farming for its own use as feed. The cattle include 200 Black Angus cows and about 180 calves as well as farming of 2,400 acres of pasture land, 960 acres of hay land, & 800 acres of grain land used to provide feed grains and crop rotation to the pasture land. 4C also operates a yard site where corrals and equipment are kept, and feed stock is piled.
The intern will assist with field work to prep the land and then seeding, equipment operation and maintenance.
