The objective of the project is to provide the forage industry with a decision support tool that will:
a) Identify potential agronomic, climatic and soil-related factors affecting alfalfa yield and nutritive value which will be derived from the nutritional value of fresh forage samples; and,
b) Predict potential yield and nutritive value loss obtained from soil nutrient analysis and health diagnostics.
