The objective of this project is to develop strategies to mitigate the impact of foreign animal diseases outbreak, such as African Swine Fever (ASF), on the pork sector.
Expected Results:The objective of the project is to evaluate depopulation methods to point out effective humane approaches and to identify and characterize antiviral drugs. All this with the goal of helping the sector face foreign animal disease outbreak, stabilize the Canadian pork sector and enable rapid market recovery.
