Description:
This project aims to maximize the opportunities for equity-deserving farmers to access training, mentorship, and networking so that they succeed and lead in Canadian agriculture. A cohort of equity-deserving farmers and farm workers will coalesce around training, mentorship, financial application supports, networking, building and sharing skills.

Expected Results:
The AgriDiversity Program strengthens the agriculture and agri-food sector by building its capacity through projects that:
-help Indigenous Peoples and members of other underrepresented and marginalized groups (URMG) develop leadership skills;
-build entrepreneurial capacity and business skills of URMG;
-facilitate the sharing of industry experience, best practices, and knowledge to help URMG manage transformation and adapt to changes in their business operations; and/or
-strengthen the sector by incorporating views from a greater diversity of sector players.
