Description:
This project aims to purchase precision farming equipment and upgrade to a high moisture corn storage facility. As part of this project, the organization intends to purchase a John Deere 600R spreader with dual fertilizer bins and variable rate application to improve fertilizer management by reducing overlap, decreasing fuel consumption, and optimizing rate and placement. This project also involves the installation of a new corn storage facility that will maintain the high moisture content of the grain (rather than drying the commodity with propane as per the current system).
