Grants and Contributions:
Successful delivery of the Study and Stay program to the 2025–2026 cohort, achieving the following outcomes:
• A minimum of 200 international students participated across two streams: the Study and Stay program (targeting final-year students) and the Student to Professional program (targeting earlier-year students).
• Design and delivery of career development activities, career-supportive networking events, and other cohort-based learning experiences aimed at fostering strong connections to PEI communities.
• Support for SMEs and rural PEI communities through bus tours, job fairs, professional networking, and other career focused engagement opportunities.
• Formation of partnerships with PEI employers, sector associations and other organizations to promote international student population,
• Maintenance and enhancement of the Study and Stay PEI website and social media platforms.
• At least 70% of Student to Professional program graduates secure local employment or volunteer opportunities within six months of completing the program.
• At least 80% of Study and Stay program graduates remain in PEI, with over 90% of them employed one year after graduation.
The assistance type is Non-Repayable Contribution. The total government funding is $50,000.00.
