Expected Results:

Successfully complete enhancements and upgrades to Fishing Point Trail (2km), the Bottom Brook Trail (1.5km), and the Lamage Point Trail (1.5km). It is expected this project will lead to the following economic benefits:
- New connection to Bottom Brook Trail will create easier access and increase foot traffic to local businesses, communities, restaurants, accommodations, attractions, etc.
- Enhancing the trail is expected to see an increase in visitors to the Town, which in turn has the potential to increase the number of visitors for restaurants, attractions, accommodations, retail stores, and other local businesses.
- With current cruise bookings of 11,718 passengers to arrive in 2025, an enhanced trial system will incline these visitors to stay longer and also return to the region, increasing revenue for local businesses.
