Grants and Contributions:
Successfully implement phase I of a multi-phase initiative that will address credential recognition barriers, streamline access to career opportunities, and ultimately enhance immigrant retention in the province. By the end of Phase I, Expertise Hub Co-operative (EHC) will launch a pilot version of a centralized platform, publish comprehensive findings from a feasibility study, build partnerships with local employers, educational institutions, and immigrant-serving organizations, and lay the foundation for future phases, including subsidized placements and mentorship programs.
EHC will implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to track the project’s progress and impact. Key performance indicators will include:
1. Platform Usage: Metrics such as user registrations, session durations, and resource downloads to provide quantitative insights into the platform’s reach and effectiveness.
2. Employment Outcomes: Data on users’ employment status before and after engaging with the platform to highlight its impact on workforce integration.
3. At the conclusion of the project, EHC will conduct a detailed survey to evaluate the platform’s success in addressing credential recognition barriers and ensuring its usability for immigrant professionals.
The assistance type is Non-Repayable Contribution. The total government funding is $26,250.00.
