AI Capacity-Building Community and Economic Development Organizations:
60 staff and business advisors from community economic development organizations participate to increase confidence supporting SMEs in identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI tools for productivity, growth, and innovation.
AI Readiness for SMEs Across Nova Scotia:
155 participants from SMEs across Nova Scotia participate in a training to bolster AI readiness.
Targeting Annapolis Valley (25), Cape Breton (25), Halifax (60), North Shore (25), and South Shore (20)
AI Microcredentials:
- 120 participants participate in a microcredential, 30 per stream across 4 streams, exiting the program ready to adopt, implement, or lead AI initiatives in their sectors
- Sectoral Impact: Broaden AI readiness across marketing, IT, project management, and life sciences, addressing Nova Scotia’s current AI skills gaps
- Ensure all AI Microcredentials are aligned with the Nova Scotia Microcredential Framework
