Grants and Contributions:
Establishment of the Canadian Tick Research and Innovation Centre (CTRIC) with ticks having been reared and sold, including but not limited to:
- acquisition and installation of new vector tick rearing and molecular suite equipment
- construction/renovation of lab space, molecular suite and containment room
- hire lab manager
- complete regulatory consulting
- complete business development and marketing activities
- complete travel related to CTRIC establishment and development
Final reporting to also include but not be limited to: details on number of ticks reared, number of ticks sold, where the purchaser was from, number of research partners, number of commercial SME's working on new products or research, etc.
The assistance type is Non-Repayable Contribution. The total government funding is $212,415.00.
