Cetana. a start-up founded by two Yellowknife entrepreneurs, will offer a new model of health and wellness services using technology currently unavailable in the NWT. In order to maximize its exposure and ensure increased accessibility, Cetana has chosen a prime location in downtown Yellowknife. Local contractors will be hired to renovate the selected site in order to create an attractive and relaxing environment, allowing users to enjoy the benefits of physical and neurological relaxation. The CNC will be equipped with two sensory isolation capsules, more commonly known as float tanks, a system that reduces the sensation of gravity in a lightfree and silent environment. In addition, Cetana's guests will have access to a Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS), a system controlled by a specialized psychologist, which is designed to relax specific areas of the brain, or to stimulate them on request.
