Nunavut communities that are looking to incorporate marine renewable enegry will have access to the Qikiqtani Renewable Energy Resource Potential map. As well, a minimum of one ideal location will be identified for the future deployment of a hydrokinetic turbine. This will better position the Qikiqtani Region to deploy MRE infrastructure in the future.
