Project activities include the development of a strategy for the transition to a circular economy in the NWT. CDETNO will engage stakeholders in a series of consultations and workshops to develop a roadmap to guide businesses towards the transition to a greener economy. CDETNO will also extend its entrepreneurship education series, implemented in Francophone high schools in the NWT, to schools offering Francophone immersion programs in the territory. The objective is to stimulate entrepreneurship in youth through activities delivered by an experienced facilitator in classrooms. As well, CDNETO will work with NWT Tourism to attract Francophone conferences to the NWT, with the goal of promoting the territory to Canadian Francophone organizations and businesses now, in order to receive the first conferences during the post-Covid economic recovery.
