Description:
A project to improve the accessibility and availability of online geoscience information. This project will provide stakeholders with up to date and accessible information in order to support economic development of the territory. It will achieve this through three objectives: improve the existing information on the mineral resource inventory; create a new, updated and complete geological map of Nunavut (which currently only exists in parts); and update and restructure the NunavutGeoscience.ca website and database so that searchable and discoverable geoscience and exploration information is readily available to stakeholders.

Expected Results:
As a result of the project, the applicant will be able to update information and information infrastructure. These investments will result in providing more accessible and modernized geoscience information to stakeholders in the resource sector to encourage further exploration programs, investment and economic development in the territory.
