Description:
Improvements to commercial facilities in order to take advantage of local economic opportunities. TZDC’s commercial activities include garage and loader rentals, tire shop services and lumber sales. For this project, TZDC will upgrade existing facilities including the installation of a fence to improve security, renovations to their garage to improve the efficiency of its services and the construction of a lumber storage area to facilitate lumber sales. Additionally, TZDC will update their business plan and hire and train staff to improve their capacity to deliver commercial services.

Expected Results:
As a result of the project, TZDC will have improved its business capacity to take advantage of economic opportunities by engaging and training new staff, and by making improvements to its existing commercial facilities. The project will support three jobs, one full time and two part time, with the expectation that these positions will be self-funded as a result of the revenue opportunities stemming from the project.
