Description:
Capacity building for Economic development Officers through two key deliverables: i) the organization and delivery of NEDA Annual Training Conference ii) the development of NEDA’s Strategic Plans. NEDA will also create a new strategic plan to address some critical items on the current expiring plan and incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S) into this next five-year strategic plan.

Expected Results:
As a result of the project, NEDA’s annual training conference will provide Nunavut’s EDOs a unique opportunity to meet with their counterparts, discuss best practices, and learn about new opportunities to benefit their communities. The development of the new strategic plan will incorporate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals into its plan. It will provide the organization a roadmap to align with Canada’s 2030 Agenda National Strategy.
