Description:
Aurora Heat will proceed with the manufacturing and installation of a specially designed fur press. This press will allow the company to significantly increase its production and meet the market demand. In addition, the production cost savings generated by the press will lead to a better redistribution of resources and improve the company's efficiency. This phase of the project will allow the commercialization of a new product called NEZU. This new product, which will be supported by a study conducted by the University of Calgary, will specifically address people suffering from anxiety and stress by reducing the effects of these syndromes through a sensory experience. This commercialization will be based on a marketing strategy implemented by a consultant specially hired for this project.
Organization:
Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency
Expected Results:

Aurora Heat will be able to increase its sales while reducing its production costs, therefore increasing its profit margins. The profitability of the company would be improved and the earnings would allow Aurora Heat to become self-sufficient. Over the course of the project, four part-time positions would be created, and six positions would be expanded and ten maintained.
