Description:
Sunnyside Farm is receiving a repayable contribution to build a micro-dairy consisting of 7 milk cows in Whitehorse. This phase two project involves constucting an outdoor cow shelter, purchasing 7 milking cows, constructing a milking parlour contained in a 20 ft. shipping container, a processing sytem contained in an existing building and a transportation cooler for delivering fluid milk and butter to Whitehorse retailers.

As a result of this project, Sunnyside Farm will enter into agreements with Yukon retailers to sell dairy products in stores, being the first locally available fluid dairy in Yukon.
