As a result of the project, Tukumaaq Incorporated would ensure hotel accommodation remains available in the community to meet tourist and business needs, as well as develop a training facility to deliver Counsellor Training for Inuit looking to further their education. The project outcomes will result in infrastructure to support the tourism sector, and diversification of the northern economy by providing a functional training centre in the community for Inuit to pursue further education opportunities. Tukumaaq Incorporated estimates that the project will create three direct jobs, maintain four direct jobs, and expand two direct jobs.
