Description:
A project to to allow the Government of Yukon’s mobile abattoir to provide custom slaughter services during the winter months to the Whitehorse area livestock farmers. This will happen by renting an indoor heated space with access to utilities from the private sector as well as providing contract slaughter services.

This project will allow Whitehorse farmers to access abattoir services for animals in need of slaughter by providing access to a mobile facility that will have the capacity to meet the levels of inspected slaughter currently met by the existing governmentsupported mobile abattoir operation outside in above freezing temperatures.
