Description:
Recruiting National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) instructors and homecare support instructors as well as purchasing necessary training equipment. Instructors will be used to provide training for Nunavut Arctic College Students to prepare for their NCLEX-RN exam which is a prerequisite to become part of the Registered Nurses Association of NWT/NU. In addition, Ikajuq Care Inc. will hire and train local personal support workers to be employed in Iqaluit.

Expected Results:
As a result of this project, Ikajuq Care Inc., expects to gain 2 Inuit Registered Nurse agency travel employees, 5 Nunavut trained registered nurses in permanent positions with Nunavut health centres and care facilities as well as 10 homecare support workers to work for Ikajuq Care Inc.
