Qikiqtaaluk Corporation will purchase and operate a vessel to compile data and research for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans.

Expected Results:

As a result of this project, Qikiqtaaluk Corporation will have a new vessel to complete baseline research for exploratory fisheries, assist in food security and conduct future research. 120 Inuit will be trained in research, harvesting, processing and handling fish and business development management. 120 Youth will be broadened in career exploration in fisheries and research methods.
