Description:

A project to operate a 280 km winter road to the Vuntut Gwitchin community of Old Crow. As part of the project, Arctic Terrain Transport Inc. will purchase and upgrade an overland transport vehicle (Husky 8) to carry up to 40 tons of materials and/or equipment per trip.

As a result of this project, the recipient will expand their business into a new category of operations, demonstrating the viability to supply off-grid communities and provide a cost-effective transport alternative to costly and environmentally intensive fly-in services.
