The Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk is receiving $237,509 toward a 2-year project to proceed with the acquisition and installation of basic infrastructure for the tourism clientele that visits the community each year.

Expected Results:

As a result of the project, three full-time seasonal jobs will be created and five others maintained. A feasibility study will have been completed for the creation of an additional campground. In addition, by being able to keep tourists in the community longer, local economic benefits will be increased.
