The Carmacks Development Corporation (CDC) is receiving $542,670 (64% of total project cost) in non-repayable fundng towards a two-year feasibility study and preparatory project for environmental and regulatory studies and permits to support the future development of an industrial and commercial subdivision in Carmacks.

Expected Results:

As a result of the project, the recipient anticipates advancing to a place where the Corporation can proceed with development of the Casino Way subdivision. In addition to the broader increase in economic activity as a result of future subdivision development, CDC anticipates that the subdivision development will create 20-40 employment opportunities in various capacities - full-time, part-time, and seasonal for local citizens and LSCFN members.
