Description:
The Qaujigiartiit Health Research Centre (QHRC) will implement a one-year project to Phase 2 of the Tisi Project. This phase of the project will focus completing the preconstruction design work and surveying that is required to construct a multi-use building, which will house the Makkuktunut Iglu – Youth Wellness Hub on the ground floor and Non-profit Staff Housing on the second and third floors.

Expected Results:
As a result of this project, QHRC will have a full set of drawings and surveys, which will allow the organization to proceed with Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the new small infrastructure project in Iqaluit. QHRC's intention is that the multi-use building can serve as a model to be replicated in other northern communities and across the Arctic.
